Accessibility

A workspace more people can use.

OPT Buddy targets WCAG 2.2 level AA. This is a design and testing goal, not a completed conformance certification. The public and account screens are being redesigned, and a full accessibility review remains outstanding.

The standard

We design toward WCAG 2.2 level AA, with 44 by 44 CSS pixel interactive targets, readable disclosure text, and status, error, and escalation messages that do not rely on colour alone. These are implementation goals under review, not a certification.

Checked as of 2026-08-29.

What we check

Our checks cover readable contrast, keyboard navigation and visible focus, narrow-screen layouts, zoom, reduced motion, labeled inputs, and understandable validation errors. Static guidance should remain readable without JavaScript; calculators and account forms require it. Automated checks alone do not establish conformance.

Not yet verified

We have not completed a full manual screen reader pass with JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver on every surface, and we have not run a third party audit. Both happen before launch, and this page is updated with what they find rather than with a badge.
